But don't add it simply because another attraction appears on the map.

When you come back down from Bich Dong, you don't necessarily need to return immediately to Tam Coc.

If you have less than an hour, head back to Tam Coc and relax.

If you have around two hours, explore some of the nearby countryside or stop for a local meal.

And if you still have 2–4 hours, Bich Dong can become a transition point between the famous side of Ninh Binh and its quieter rural landscape.

But between these attractions are villages, farms, rice fields, ponds and limestone valleys where local life continues.

If you have already spent the morning sightseeing, the afternoon doesn't necessarily need another major attraction.

From Bich Dong, you can continue by bicycle, e-bike or scooter toward the countryside and Dundj Valley.

For Bich Dong, wear suitable footwear and take extra care on wet stone steps.
